Another 1,350 IDPs resettled

Another batch of 1,350 Internally Displaced Persons of the North were resettled Wednesday, Resettlement Ministry Secretary U.L.M.Haldeen told Daily News.

Only 70,332 IDPs sheltered in the six welfare zones, Kadirgamar, Ramanathan, Arunachalam, Ananda Coomaraswamy and zone 4 and zone 6 remain to be resettled.

The government continues to provide dry rations and they cook their own meals, he said.
