Easy win for Asoka Vidyalaya

A sparkling knock of 58 from Sithija Madushan was the highlight of the annual one day cricket match which helped Asoka Vidyalaya beat President's College at SSC grounds recently.

Madushan had two sixes and eight boundaries for his superb half century he was well supported by Nipuna Viraj (29) to score 173 runs in their innings. Sithija Madushan was named man of the match. Brilliant bowling by Thilak Wijesuriya (2 for 34), Mohamad Halan (2 for 39) and Yashan Kuruvita 2 for 16) bowled well for the losers.
