Renown wins first game in round II
The Hocim FA Cup second round which began Last week end saw eight
games played in different parts of the country. Renown Sc who was the
first team to appear in the second round had convincing victory (2-1)
over their rivlas Cameroon SC from Hatton. Though the home team had the
advatage playing in their home den failed to put up a good show against
the Colombo Club.
Meanwhile another Colombo Club Sarasavi SC and Cooray SC too made
good win over their opponents Fortuna SC and Eleven Star SC.
The team from Kurunegala Pelicans SC recorded the highest goal
aggregate scoring 8 goals but their rival too ahd a big haul of goals
netting in seven goals.
