Middle order batsman Geeth Alwis hit a splendid 113 not out as Ruhuna build up a massive first innings lead over Wayamba on the second day of their Bank of Ceylon Inter Provincial 4 day cricket tournament match which continued at the Colts CC ground in Havelock Park yesterday.

Dashing opener Dilshan Munaweera hit a magnificent 136 from 109 balls with one six and 21 boundaries as Basnahira North put themselves in contention for an outright victory over Basnahira South on the second day of their Bank of Ceylon Inter Provincial 4 day cricket tournament match which continued at the De Soysa Stadium Moratuwa yesterday.
