Swarnamahal Financial Services issue oversubscribed

The Rs 100 million debenture issue of Swarnamahal Financial Services which opened for subscription on March 31 has been oversubscribed on the first day itself.

The issue closed at 5.00 p.m. on the same day.

The issue had taken place in two tranches each of Rs 50 million worth of debentures and both tranches have been fully subscribed on the day one itself.

The issue offered three types of debenture options for investors.

Senior citizens were offered an additional interest rate of one percent per annum (1.00 percent p.a.) above the specified interest rates.

Swarnamahal Financial Services Limited is an EAP Edirisinghe Company, incorporated in January 2004 and registered by the Monetary Board of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka in August 2006.
