Prince owes half million US$s in taxes
Prince reportedly owes around $506,000 in taxes. Carver County tax
records show the 'Purple Rain' singer - real name Prince Rogers Nelson -
and his companies PRN Music Corp. and Paisley Park Enterprises Inc. owe
the combined sum in delinquent property taxes to the state of Minnesota
for 2009.

PRN Music Cor, based in the musician's Paisley Park Studios in
Chanhassen, which is located west of Minneapolis, alone owes more than
$227,000 in taxes to the state and other government bodies.
Prince, 51, now has until April 21 to file an objection to the sum he
and his businesses are alleged to owe, if he does not "a court judgment
will be entered against the properties for the unpaid tax, penalty,
interest and costs', according to local newspaper the Chaska Herald.
However, he has until now and May 2013 to pay off the sum until any
forfeiture process could start against Prince's listed properties.
According to Laurie Engelen, taxpayer services manager for Carver
County, the pop legend was late in paying taxes on his studio in 2006
and 2008, and on a piece of land he owns in 2008, but eventually settled
the matter. - Daily News
Rihanna remains atop Hot 100
Rihanna maintains her No. 1 standing on the Billboard Hot 100 as
'Rude Boy' holds at No. 1 for a second week. The track earns the Airplay
Gainer award for a fifth straight frame, the longest streak since Black
Eyed Peas had an equal run with 'I Gotta Feeling' in July/August 2009.
'Rude Boy' bounces 7-2 on Radio Airplay with 98.3 million listener
impressions (up 16.2 million). Atlanta rapper B.o.B jumps 5-2 on the Hot
100 with 'Nothin' on You,' featuring Bruno Mars. Lady Gaga and Beyonce
dial up the biggest mover within the top 10 as 'Telephone' soars 9-3.
After holding the runner-up slot for the past two weeks, Lady
Antebellum's 'Need You Know' dips 2-4. Also slipping two spots is Taio
Cruz's 'Break Your Heart' (3-5), which is able to hold on to its No. 1
ranking on Digital Songs for a third week. The Black Eyed Peas fall back
4-6 with 'Imma Be,' while Train's 'Hey, Soul Sister' dips 6-7, though
the title keeps it bullet as it continues to gain in radio airplay.
Rounding out the top 10 are 'BedRock' by Young Money featuring Lloyd
(7-8), Ke$ha's 'TiK ToK' (8-9) and 'Baby' by Justin Bieber (12-10).
Bieber's track returns to the top 10 for the first time since it debuted
at No. 5 two months ago, posting it best download sum since that debut
frame (130,000). Meanwhile, Bieber scores the Billboard Hot 100's Hot
Shot Debut for the second time in three weeks as 'U Smile' opens at No.
27, selling 83,000 downloads. Two weeks ago, 'Never Let You Go' debuted
at No. 21 (101,000). The three tracks preview his 'My World 2.0' album
set to debut atop the Billboard 200 next week. Last week's Hot Shot
Debut, Drake's 'Over,' earns further accolades as it jumps 35-17 as the
Digital Gainer (100,000, up 115 percent). Among the other debuts, T.I.
debuts at No. 44 with 'I'm Back,' which serves as his return to the list
following his release from prison in December and Maine rapper Spose
opens at No. 54 with the modestly titled 'I'm Awesome.' The song moves
33,000 downloads in its first week of release and also debuts at No. 36
on Pop Songs.
Also debuting are new tracks by Usher (No. 76), Disney's Friends for
Change, featuring Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato (No. 84), The-Dream (No.
92), Maxwell (No. 96) and George Strait (No. 100).
George Michael caught with mystery man
The 'Careless Whisper' singer - who has an open relationship with his
long-term boyfriend Kenny Goss, has been spotted canoodling with a
shaven-headed hunk whilst on a yacht in Sydney, Australia.

The two men frolicked together on the MV Enigma boat, which costs
£400-an-hour to rent, applied sun cream to one another and dived into
the sea before locking lips whilst clutching onto the side of the yacht.
A source told The Sun newspaper, 'George went cruising on Sydney
Harbour with some of his new-found male friends. He chartered a cruiser
on Monday and took the guys exploring the private coves. He has been in
great spirits after some good reviews. He has been loving it Down
Under.' The 46-year-old star has been holidaying in the country since he
finished touring Australia three weeks ago. He has been staying in a
serviced apartment in the city and has also rented a car so he can see
the sights. This is not the first time George and Kenny's 14-year-long
romance has come under scrutiny.
The art dealer is believed to have secretly dumped George in 2008,
after the former Wham! singer was arrested in the public toilets on
London's Hampstead Heath and charged with possession of drugs.
However, the couple have been pictured together many times since then
and George has always been adamant Kenny doesn't mind having an open
relationship.
"People want to see me as tragic with all the cottaging and
drug-taking. I don't see them as weaknesses any more. It's just who I
am," he said.

Bieber: I'm '100 Percent' behind accused manager
Justin Bieber is standing by his manager, who surrendered to police
Wednesday (March 24) in connection with a mall fan frenzy that sent five
people to a hospital with minor injuries last year.
Scott 'Scooter' Braun pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless
endangerment, criminal nuisance and endangering the welfare of a child.
"My mother and I are 100 percent behind my manager," the 16-year-old
singing sensation said in a statement released to the Associated Press
on Wednesday night. "He is someone of high moral character and
principle. The decisions he made that day were to protect the safety of
myself and my fans and I am very thankful to have someone in my life who
watches over me the way Scooter does." Braun's arrest stemmed from a
planned appearance in November by Bieber at Roosevelt Field Mall in a
New York suburb. Authorities claim Braun didn't send out a tweet fast
enough to let the raucous crowd of 3,000 know Bieber wouldn't be making
an appearance.
Nassau County police canceled the event when the crowd became unruly.
But some fans refused to leave, crowding the narrow area outside the
clothing store where Bieber was scheduled to sign autographs. Five
people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries.
"People started screaming, 'Justin!' And they ran forward and the
ropes collapsed," said 13-year-old Aimee Macchi, who was knocked to the
floor in the rush.
According to a release from the district attorney, police efforts
were hindered by a message from Bieber's Twitter account to fans
stating: "On my way to Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island, NY to sign
and meet fans! I'm pumped. See u there." The release said police asked
James Roppo, a senior vice president of Island Def Jam Records, Bieber's
record label, to send out a tweet telling fans that the event was
canceled. Island Def Jam employees also contacted Braun to send out the
tweet. An hour later, no tweet was sent and the crowd remained.
Roppo was arrested for not cooperating with attempts to break up the
crowd. He was charged with a series of misdemeanors, including
endangering the welfare of children and obstructing governmental
administration. His case is pending.
When police called Braun, he told them he "was in a meeting in
Manhattan without access to a computer," according to the district
attorney. When told that he would be arrested, he asked police to make
sure they spelled his name right on the warrant, the release said.
Braun sent two tweets 90 minutes later about three minutes apart,
once Roppo called him after being placed under arrest, according to the
district attorney.
The crowd dispersed within 15 minutes. Bieber never made it inside
the mall.
Braun's lawyer, Ravi Batra, said his client responded promptly to the
police request, finding a computer and sending the tweets in seven
minutes. He is hoping the district attorney reopens the investigation.
The 28-year-old Braun faces up to a year in jail if convicted.
Bieber caught the attention of the music industry after he began
posting videos of himself singing on YouTube. His album ' My World 2.0,'
with the hit song 'Baby,' was released Tuesday.
Bieber wore a T-shirt with the words 'Free Scooter' imprinted on it
Wednesday as he was met by a group of screaming fans in Chicago.
Pink admits she's an easy date
The 'So What' singer went to see American punk band Bad Religion at
The House of Blues in Los Angeles with her husband Carey Hart and on the
way home the motocross racer made his wife's day by treating her to a
cheap snack.
She tweeted, 'He (Carey) is so romantic. He just bought me a 24 oz
Heineken in a can and a string cheese from 7-Eleven. I'm so lucky... Bad
religion!' Although Pink, 30, and Carey enjoyed the gig, the 34-year-old
racer admits he can no longer party as hard as he used to.
He wrote on his twitter page: 'Bad religion killing it at HOB in LA!
30 years strong!
