Thine Roo Prabha 2010 is an Interschool Photography Exhibition and
prize giving organised by Sapugaskanda Vishaka Vidyalaya Photographic
Society, with 30 schools joining in. It will be held on March 30 at 10
am at Sapugaskanda Vishaka Balika Vidyalaya with the Western Province
Education Director J.A.L.D. Hemachandra as the Chief Guest, and with the
participation of Zonal Education Director and Kelaniya University
Humanities Faculty Senior Lecturer Patrick Ratnayake. The school is now
in its twentieth year and won the Productivity Award last year. The
public is invited for the event.
Book launch
 Meth
Mal Uyana, a book of dhamma, compiled by Thanuja Dharmapala, consequent
to dhamma discussions with Ven. Kiribathgoda Gnanananda Thera, will be
launched on March 29 at 9.30 am at Malabe Pittugala Ama Watura Mahamewna
Asapuwa. The first copy of the book will be presented to Ven. Gnanananda
Thera while the thera will deliver a special sermon on this occasion. "Meth
Mal Uyana" is published by Mihira Book Publishers. |
