Felicitating Sunil Edirisinghe
The Colombo University's Science Faculty students together with the
Art Council will organise a musical evening and felicitating ceremony
for veteran vocalist
 Sunil
Edirisinghe.
Edirisinghe had contributed to uplifting the local music scene for
more then four decades with memorable hits like Aetha Sitan, Ahasa
Polowa, Awapasa Ahasaka, Chandra Madala and many more. The musical and
felicitation will take place at the new art gallery in the university
premises on March 30 at 4 p.m.
Discussions on the highlights of the vocalist's music career will
also be taken up by Senior Professor Sarath Wijesuirya. Ven. Agalakada
Sirisumana Thera, Rathnasri Wijesinghe, Kolitha Bhanu Dissanayake,
Kumaradasa Saputhanthri and Bandula Nanayakkarawasam will also take
part. |
