Peterites out to retain the Rev. Fr. Peter Pillai Trophy

St. Peter's College will be hoping to retain the Rev. Fr. Peter Pillai Trophy for the third successive year when they take on their traditional rivals St. Joseph's College in the 36th annual inter school Battle of the Saints limited overs cricket encounter at the P. Saravanamuttu Stadium today.

However St. Joseph's College still lead the series with a total of 18 victories against their opponents 15 wins.

The 2001 encounter ended in a tie while one match was abandoned due to bad weather.
