Namal tells supporters:

Ensure peaceful election

Hambantota district UPFA candidate Namal Rajapaksa while urging party supporters not to stage processions in violation of Election Laws has requested them to engage in religious observances at their own religious places and thus ensure a peaceful election.

He has also took a decision not to hold a procession after the handing over of nominations.

“We must set an example of this nature from the Hambantota district and I request your full cooperation towards the realisation of this objective, Namal Rajapaksa stated in a press release.
