Israel bombs Gaza, suppresses Palestinians

West Bank: Israeli planes bombed an airport and other facilities in Gaza's southern area, while occupying forces threatened to put down about 200 houses in Jerusalem and continue with repression and arrests of Palestinians in the West Bank.

The military air force raids occurred on Tuesday night and Wednesday midnight against Yasser Arafat international Airport in Dahaniya, Rafah, bordering with Egypt in the southern area of this enclave.

Sources of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), controlling the border, said the planes launched five missiles against this facility, without victims, as part of a similar action occurred two days ago when three people were wounded.

At the same time Jerusalem officials ordered imminent demolition of 200 Palestinian houses in Silwan, an area overcrowded by Arabs just in the outskirts of the Old City walls and one side of Al-Aqsa mosque.
