Unite for sake of country - Ajantha de Soysa

Former Parliamentarian and Leader of Ruhunu Janatha Party Ajantha de Soysa said that time has arrived for every section of the people to unite to overcome the challenge of bringing victory to the country.

Issuing a statement on the Presidential Election and future programs. De Soysa has called upon everybody to shed their petty differences and bow down to the will of the people surfaced at the election. Several candidates contested this Presidential Election which came immediately after defeating the three decade old war in the country. They put forward various policy matters before the people. However, the people selected only the policies placed before them by President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Today, we are faced with several issues such as rebuilding the economy, establishing democracy and developing the country.

Time has come for all of us to shed our petty differences which we displayed during election period and come forward as one force to overcome these challenges.

Therefore let us bow down to the verdict of the people make the peace we achieved in the country a meaningful one. it is our fervent hope.
