Rubesh to officiate at SAG

Sri Lanka’s G.N. Rubesh one of the leading football referees has been selected by the Asian Football Confederation to officiate at the 11th South Asian Games which begins today in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Rubesh is one of the highly qualified Referees who is a affiliate of the World governing body for the sport (FIFA). He is also the only Sri Lanka referee to be selected by the AFC to officiate the this Games. He left the island yesterday along the Sri Lanka Soccer team that is to compete at this Game.
