Sports material centre opened

A new sports material centre was opened recently by Gamini Kulatunge, the Superintendent of Prisons, Kandy at the Public Service Sports Club premises, Kandy.

(Adjoining Police Grounds, Kandy). It also provides sports medicine and a qualified doctor is available at the centre.

Jagath Kulatunge, the Senior Vice President of the Public Service Sports Club, Kandy along with Deva Amunugama and Sunil Munasinghe, both Vice Presidents of Kandy District Sports Development Foundation, H.G. Ariyaratne, the Director of Sports, Central Province and others were at the opening.

This Sports Centre will provide qualified Umpires & Coaches for all the Sports and Sportsmen can take any assistance regarding this from 8.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. daily.
