Police found a head and other parts of the body of a person in a jungle patch in the Rajamalwatta area, Battaramulla on Wednesday evening.

Acting on information, police recovered several body parts of a male including head and hands. The body parts were found on a jungle patch along Parliament Road, Battaramulla, Police spokesman SSP I.M. Karunaratna said.

”The body was not identified and it was not known how it was brought to the area”, he added.

Thalangama police is investigating.
