‘Victory of the common masses’

Vocational and Technical Training and SLFP Galle District leader Minister Piyasena Gamage in a statement issued yesterday thanked the grateful people including those particularly in the Galle district for re-electing President Mahinda Rajapaksa with a convincing majority.

He said this victory was a victory of the common masses who believed that it was President Rajapaksa who liberated the country from terrorism who had the capability to develop the country by developing the village.

He said he would join hands with the people in the Galle district to implement the Mahinda Chinthana vision for the future a success and endow a prosperous and pleasant country for the people.
