'Unpatriotic forces defeated'

Even the last effort of creating a Tamil Eelam dreamt by unpatriotic forces of the country has been shattered and defeated by the landslide Presidential Election victory, Asgiri Chapter Anunayaka Thera Ven. Galagama Sri Attadassi Thera said.

People of the country have shown their gratitude to President Mahinda Rajapaksa who brought peace to the country by defeating the terrorism from this soil.

Those who used the words 'poda' to Mahinda, Gota and Basil have been truly given the meaning of 'poda' by the verdict of the people.

Those people have also given the message to the world that people are solidly behind President Rajapaksa's development programs in the country. Also the people who have been defeated politically should now give their cooperation to these development efforts without being an obstacle to them, Ven. Thera said.
