All Ceylon Hindu Congress

The All Ceylon Hindu Congress congratulating President Mahinda Rajapaksa on his victory invoked blessings on him.

“We pray to Shri Sivagami Samedha Shri Nataraja Peruman to shower His blessings on Your Excellency to take Sri Lanka forward with prosperity so that all the people of this country can irrespective of race and religion live with dignity and equality and lead a peaceful life in their motherland,” it said.

“While we again thank Your Excellency and Your Excellency’s Government for giving us and opportunity and also extending to us support in our humanitarian services to our people who were affected in numerous ways, we should specifically mention the swift action taken by Your Excellency’s Government in developing the surroundings of Thiruketheeswaram Temple and providing infrastructure facilities and also building an Elders’ Home as a project of the Ministry of Social Services and agreeing to release students who were in rehabilitation camps,” it added.
