All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama

All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama felicitates President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s landslide victory at the Presidential election.

It requests all voters who used their democratic rights to get rid of the difference in opinion, hatred and vengeance against one another and to be patient to get together for the prosperous future of the country.

“It is our duty as Sri Lankans to support the people-elected President, who has great tasks to achieve for the progress of the country, during the next six year tenure,” it said.

It further said: “May Allah bless the people in this country to achieve a brighter future, being the next step of the Mahinda Chinthana as President Mahinda Rajapaksa announced the public, “There won’t be any minorities in the country. I want everybody to feel like one”.

“Let us consolidate and love the country for its prosperity. There are only two types of people living in the country. They are patriots and the others are traitors.

“Let us be patriots and co-operate with the President to achieve the Brighter Future.
