He made this observation at a rally held at the Nittambuwa Public Grounds yesterday.

President Rajapaksa further stated the relationship between Rajapaksas in Giruwaya and Bandaranaikes in Attanagalla was so strong and as a son of D.A. Rajapaksa he felt his arrival at Attanagalla as if he ment to Beliatta in Giruwaya. He also recalled late Prime Minister Sirimavo Bandaranaike and said she appointed him as the Beliatta SLFP Organizer in 1967 and she was a mother to me.

The President also remarked that the massive crowd in Nittambuwa is a sign of his great victory at the Presidential Election on January 26.
