Thirteen teams entered the second round of the Under 13 Twenty 20 cricket tournament for the Thissa Gunawardena Challenge Trophy after the conclusion of the first round matches conducted at the Parakkrama M.V Ground, Bandarawattha.

The teams those entered the second round are, Kirindiwela Central, Kirillawala M.V, Wedamulla M.V, Henagama Central College, Gonsalwes College, Bandaranayake College Gampaha, Parakrama M.V Bandarawattha, President's College Weyangoda, Galahitiyawa M.V, Dharmaloka College Kelaniya, Ranpokunugama M.V, Bandaranayake College Weyangoda.
