Cambrians in control

Richmond College, Galle were bowled out for a paltry 124 runs in their inter-school Under-19 cricket match played for the A.P.M. Peiris Trophy at Galle. Irosh Samarasuriya top scored for Richmondites with 40 runs while Buddhika de Alwis once again was among the wickets with 4 for 16.

Cambrians in reply at the end of day one were 62 for 2.

Richmond: 124 in 72 overs (Irosh Samarasuriya 40, Dananjaya de Silva 24, Buddhika de Alwis 4/16, Malshan Mendis 2/18, Tharindu Dilshan 2/26).
