Seminar on ATA Carnets

The International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka will host a seminar on the use of ATA Carnets on the January 12 at the Galle Face Hotel.

ATA Carnet is a customs document which enables the holder to export merchandise to about 68 countries in Asia, Africa, Americas and EU duty free and tax free. It is popularly known as the passport for goods. The benefits to the holder are immense.

It is a very popular ICC tool used all over the world. Globally about 200,000 carnets are issued every year covering merchandise worth over 12 billion US Dollars.

The seminar will be conducted by the Chief Executive Officer of International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka Gamini Peiris.
