Ranil will fall into political dustbin - Health Minister

Ranil Wickremesinghe is enquiring about the properties of the LTTE as if he is the heir to those properties of Velupillai Prabakaran. It is highly tragic and also inevitable that Ranil's continuous enquiries about these properties will definitely relegate him to the dustbin of Sri Lanka's political history, Healthcare and Nutrition Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva said.

Speaking at a political meeting organised by the Three-wheel Owners' Association in support of President Mahinda Rajapaksa's candidacy at the forthcoming Presidential election, held recently at the Simon Peiris Memorial Hall, Badulla, the Minister said that defeating LTTE terrorism after three decades was achieved entirely due to the principled and correct political leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and added that the Opposition Leader had adopted various strategies to destabilise the Government politically.
