LB Finance unbeaten

The unbeaten LB Finance team with resounding back-to-back wins over HSBC ‘A’ and Commercial Bank ‘A’ advanced to the semi-finals, in the on going ETI-MCA Tier ‘C’ limited overs League cricket tournament, continued last week-end.

Helped by P.C.M. Fernando’s brilliant effort of 4 for 53 and Roshane Silva’s 82, LBF recorded a six wicket win over HSBC ‘A’ on Saturday. Their victory was followed by another win when they beat Commercial Bank ‘A’ by 49 runs on Sunday, helped by E.R.S. Silva’s 79 runs and 5 for 43.

In the last game of the league stage, Suntel scored a massive 146 run win over Hirdaramani Industries helped by D. Vindaka who smashed 55 ball knock of 88 runs including 8 fours and 04 sixes.
