All Lankans support President - Prelate

All sections of people including those in the remotest villages had understood the services rendered to the country by President Mahinda Rajapaksa. They are prepared to show their gratitude to the President. The Maha Sangha give their full blessings to the President, Malwatte Chapter Anunayaka Thera Most Ven. Niyangoda Vijithasiri Thera said yesterday.

The Most Ven. Thera made these observations when 3,000 members of the Maha Sangha congregated to the historic Maha Maluva to chant pirith to bless President Rajapaksa who visited the Dalada Maligawa after handing in his nomination papers to contest the forthcoming Presidential Election.

The Most Ven. Maha Nayaka Thera of the Asgiriya Chapter Ven. Udugama Sri Buddharakkhitha Thera began the religious rites.
