First trade delegation from Palestine here

A Palestinian trade delegation of six persons will be in Sri Lanka to explore the possibilities of purchasing items from Sri Lanka. This is the first time that a Palestinian trade delegation is visiting Sri Lanka.

All members of the delegation are members of the Ramallah Chamber of Commerce who organized the mission. They will be guests of the Export Development Board.

The delegation hopes to meet leading manufacturers of garments, shoes and toys and any other items.

Their program will be arranged by the Export Development Board. They were briefed by Representative for Sri Lanka in Palestine Dr. T. Jayasinghe.
