Nalanda 166/7

Nalanda Vidyalaya were 166 for 7 at the end of day one in their inter-school under 19 cricket match against Prince of Wales College played at Moratuwa.

Due to last night down pour the match commenced at 12.30 p.m. and play stopped at 5.30 p.m. and only 68 overs were possible during the day.

Premesh Dasanayake 33 and Sineth Gunawardene was unbeaten on 32 were the chief scorers for the visitors and most successful bowler was Shehan Jayasuriya with 3 for 65 for the homsters.
