Opposition on false propaganda

The Opposition which is devoid of any policy for the next Presidential election is spreading false propaganda and allegations against the government through its henchmen, said Media, Information, Enterprise Development and Investment Promotion Minister Anura Priyadarshana Yapa when he launched a house to house campaign in support of President Rajapaksa's re-election campaign at Pannala on Saturday.

The Minister said during the last Presidential election, people requested the President to save the motherland from terrorism.

The President's coming before the people once again after fulfilling that request, he said.

The next challenge is to rebuild the nation which had been liberated from terrorism and the President was coming forward once again to ask for a people's mandate to meet that challenge.
