Bad weather spoils junior cricket

Pakistan under 19 and Bangladesh under 19 figured in a no decision as their Tri Nation limited overs cricket tournament match was abandoned without a ball being bowled due to bad weather at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium yesterday. As a result both teams received two points each. The previous game between Sri Lanka under 19 and Pakistan under 19 was also interrupted due to bad weather on Wednesday.

The tournament will now move to Colombo with Sri Lanka under 19 taking on Pakistan under 19 at the De Soysa Stadium in Moratuwa on Saturday. The two top teams after the preliminary round will clash in the final which is schedule for Tuesday at the P. Saravanamuttu Oval.
