Bowlers dominate

Fine performances by Isipathana College bowlers Damitha Sulochana (6 for 44), Anushka Samarathunga (2 for 17) and Dimuth Warapitiya (2 for 27) helped them to bundle out Prince of Wales College for 112 runs in their under-19 inter school cricket match which began at Havelocks park yesterday. Earlier a fighting half century by Shehan Jayasuriya (68) gave Prince of Wales a good start before they collapsed to 112. Play was stopped early due to rain.

The match will be continued today at 9.30 a.m today.

Prince of Wales 112 in 43.2 overs (Shehan Jayasuriya 68, Isuru Madushan 19, Damitha Sulochana 6 for 44, Anushka Samarathunga 2 for 17, Dimuth Warapitiya 2 for 27).

Isipathana 45 for 2 in 18.4 overs (Arshada Kure 19 n.o, Haris Wanigarachchi 15 n.o).
