Dominican minors involved in drugs
Dominican republic: The Office of National Drug Control Policy (DNCD)
in the Dominican Republic reported raids in poor areas of the city,
which left 110 people arrested, 13 of them minors.
It is supposed that those minors, 13 to 17 year-olds, worked for
local bosses at illegal outlets of narcotics.
The police proceeded to the arrest before some inhabitants called
worried because those hawkers presence represent a real danger to the
city peace. The text added that DNCD priority is to arrest sponsors of
those minors.
