Inspector General of Police Mahinda Balasuriya said he will take disciplinary action against police officer, who fail in their duties. He was speaking at the first public relief service program launched at the Police Headquarters, Kandy on Saturday.

The IGP said despite the fact that the majority of police officers are honest and dedicated, a small section have tarnished the confidence and image of the Police Department.
