NCCSL health seminar

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) will hold a health seminar “Stay healthy in a stressful environment” on November 17 from 2.00 p.m to 5.00 p.m at the NCCSL Auditorium, D.R. Wijewardene Mawatha, Colombo 10.

Two top Medical Specialist Consultants, from Nawaloka Hospitals and the National Hospital, well conversant in their fields will speak on cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes and endocrine disorders, obesity, osteoporosis and strokes which rank high in the list of health related problems.

The Resource persons will be Consultant Cardiologist Dr. Mohan Rajakaruna specializing in General and Interventional Cardiology who is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and Board, certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology . He has been in professional practice at Nawaloka Hospitals since 2000.

Dr. Prasad Katulanda who is a Consultant in Endocrinology and Diabetes and holds a Ph.D. in Diabetes from the University of Oxford in UK. He is a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Medicine of the Faculty of Medicine, Colombo and Consultant Physician at the National Hospital.
