SLFP organiser for Katana

Widow of the former Leader of the House and Minister Jeyaraj Fernandopulle, Dr. Sudarshini Fernandopulle will receive her letter of appointment as the SLFP Organiser, Katana Electorate, Gampaha District from President Mahinda Rajapaksa on Monday.

A special meeting to mark her appointment will be held at the Kanthi grounds, Weliweriya where Jeyaraj Fernandopulle was assassinated by a terrorist.

She will pay floral tributes before the Fernandopulle statue opposite the grounds at the commencement of the meeting. Senior Presidential Advisor Basil Rajapaksa MP and Ministers, Parliamentarians, Provincial Council and Pradeshiya Sabha members of the district and party members and activists will participate in the meeting.
