Two netted with swiftlets nests

Two suspects were nabbed along with a stock of swiftlets nest weighing over 2.7kg in Narangamuwa, Laggala on Thursday evening.

Police spokesman Senior DIG Nimal Mediwake said acting on information, police raided a location in the Narangamuwa area and seized over 2,000 Indian Edible swiftlets nests. "Two suspects were arrested along with the nests around 6.00 p.m," he said.
