IPM Guest Lecture Series

Making training work for business success:

Institute of Personnel Management Sri Lanka is organizing a series of guest lectures and knowledge sharing sessions aimed at its members, students, HR practitioners and the general public. The guest lecture series will focus on current and contemporary issues in the fields of management, human resource management and training and development and also will be a forum to share best practices.

The first in this series was the guest lecture delivered by Dr. Asoka Jinadasa on "Why we need new thinking in human resources development for corporate success". The second of this series is planned for November 10 at IPM and the guest speaker will be Dharshana Amarasinghe on "Making training work for business success" At a time of economic uncertainty when training budgets are under the axe, this topic becomes very timely and relevant.

The guest lecture series is organized by the Membership Development Committee of the Institute of Personnel Management and will be held on November 10 from 06.30pm to 08.00pm at the IPM Auditorium, Colombo 5.
