Jaffna gets computer laboratories
Irangika Range
The Government has taken measures to set up 33 computer laboratories
for the benefit of school children in 33 schools of the Jaffna district.
Social Services and Social Welfare Minister Douglas Devananda and
Northern Province Governor, Major General G.A. Chandrasiri distributed
computers to these schools at a recent ceremony in Jaffna.
The program was launched under the concept of setting up 1000
computer laboratories in schools throughout the country. |
