Nirosha indulges in ‘LOVE’

Be it any mood or occasion her tunes light up the atmosphere. Many a
tune sparkles, decorated by her hypnotizing voice and many music lovers
in Sri Lanka and foreign lands never cease to marvel as they listen to
her soothing tracks. That is Niroshani Virajani for you!

The well loved vocalist will be back on stage, presenting a live
concert for the first time, on behalf of her fans at the BMICH on
November 18 at 6.30 p.m. Titled ‘Love’ since the concert comprises some
of her most popular love songs, the event comes to you as a S-Three
presentation.
S-Three is made up of three exceptional ladies of rare talents, their
names beginning with the letter S. They are Sangeetha Weeraratna,
Sudharma Nethicumara and Shereen Kumaratunga, all lovers of the art
scene. They were the combination who staged the glitteringabout
Rookantha and Chandralekha Live in concert show earlier this year.
Though she had held a concert to launch her album Tharu Es Dahasa in
2004, this is the first time that the talented vocalist will be holding
a show for fans to purchase tickets and see a complete performance live.
With 15 years of experience up her sleeve, Nirosha will present 25 to 30
of her well loved love songs at ‘Love’.
She said: “a majority of my most popular songs are songs which are
connected with romance. These may be songs expressing sorrow or looking
at love in a more cheerful angle.”
While expressing her thanks to Nethicumar for bringing the proposal,
Nirosha also stated that many of her fans have been vying to see her
performance.
Renowned choreographer and dancer Channa Wijewardena will add more
glamour to the event through some exceptional dance performances. Suresh
Maliyadda and a team of professionals including Mahinda Bandara will
provide the back up the music. Sajith S. Kodikara will be in charge of
the lighting and stage setting of the event. The media sponsors are TV
