Himi Nethi Hadakata focuses on thirst for revenge
The story takes a more dramatic turn with Kamini leaving Kusal for

Popular director Gihan Rohana’s newest teledrama Himi Nethi Hadakata
is scheduled to unspool on Sirasa Tv on Sundays at 8.30 p.m. Jagath
Chamila, Damitha Abeyrathne, Nimanthi Porage, Palitha Silva, Harsha
Bulathsinghala, Vijerathna Warakagoda, Gihan Fernando, Morin Charuni,
Surangi Ruwanmalee, Nilanthi Wijesinghe, Saman Hemantha (Leelasena) and
others play significant roles in the story which is based on a tangle of
deceit and race for revenge.

Chaya is a young girl in her twenties who has lost her father’s
affection. She is cared for by her mother and her brother, Kusal
Dharmawardana, who pretends to be her father. He is also the owner of a
business industry and is married to Kamini, a woman who uproots the
peace and unity of the family. Significantly she still hankers for her
previous lover, Viraj, whome she had a stormy affair with before
marrying Kusal on the rebound.
Meanwhile her parents worry over the matter of them not having a
grandchild. Rashmi, Kusal’s girlfriend before marriage, is also Chaya’s
best friend. She is also left on the wing due to the Kusal-Kamini
liaison.
Praveen, Tarindu and Dananjaya are three brothers who are still
unemployed but lead a joyful life. Praveen’s father is a former
principal. Praveen loves Chaya though she refuses to have anything to do
with him. Praveen’s intention is to get married to Chaya and lead a
peaceful family life but Chaya has other expectations.
After sometime Chaya finds a job with the help of Rashmi . It is the
turning point of her life where she meets Malaka, the head of her
workplace. Unfortunately for her Malaka and Viraj have underlined
connections to take revenge on Kusal, they plan to use Chaya as a pawn
in their plans. Praveen is heartbroken over the news that Chaya has
given her concent to Malaka.
He is even more devastated to discover that Malaka is a married
person. He tries to free her from Malaka’s clutched but fails.
The story takes a more dramatic turn with Kamini leaving Kusal for
Viraj and murder taking place within the circle. Suddenly the
Dharmawardana family is in great danger as their enemies close in upon
them.
Suresh Dhammika is the cameraman and Navaratne Gamage is the music
