CIMA Business Leaders' Summit

Vice President Finance, Advanced Micro Devices Global Services (M) Sdn Bhd, Malaysia Boonsiri Somchit-Ong and Chairman Hemas Holdings Lalith de Mel will speak at the CIMA Business Leaders' Summit from October 5 - 6.

Based in Malaysia Ms Boonsiri Somchit-Ong has gathered experience in the shared services industry and will speak on "Shared services - we're not about machines, we're about people".

She is responsible for the entire Global Accounting and Financial Services Organisation of AMD and is also the executive in charge of the newly set-up Advanced Micro Devices Global Services (M) Sdn Bhd. She has many years of experience in the industry and has worked in Motorola, FMS Audio, Komag and now in AMD. Under her leadership, this group has now grown into a new AMD entity, AMD Global Services.

She is one of the speakers who presented a paper and was well accepted at the CIMA world conference concluded in Malaysia recently.

Lalith de Mel has wide experience in the business world.

With the opportunities now presented in the country the challenges are even more.

He will present on "The Challenge of the public sector and private sector link to economic growth".
