HSBC's branch situated in Kandy was recently refurbished with many
modern facilities. The refurbished branch was opened on September 11 by

the presence of the senior management team, staff and customers residing
in the area.
New improvements include a larger reception area with a global
ambiance to make customers feel at home and new meeting rooms to provide
customers with privacy to carry out their banking needs, with a one to
one service.
The branch will also encompass a state-of-the-art express banking
area with Personal Internet Banking, connection to HSBC's 24hour Call
Centre, additional ATM's and Easy Pay machines to withdraw or deposit
cash when required.
Nicolaou, said, "The Kandy branch was established in 1992 and was the
first in the area to offer customers with 24/7 Express Banking.
I'm indeed happy to announce that the branch is now better equipped
with modern facilities, to give customers a truly international banking
experience at all times". As with all other HSBC Branches, an 'Access
for All' ramp has also been installed to help persons with reduced
mobility, enter the branch with ease.
And, with the rapid expansion of business, trading and industrial
activities in the area, ample parking facilities are offered to
facilitate the inflow of customers. |
