SPC polls: 4,315 postal applications rejected

Out of 12,705 applications made for postal voting in the Matara District for the forthcoming Southern Provincial elections 4,315 applications have been rejected for various reasons.

The Assistant Commissioner of Elections, Matara District said these applications were rejected due to incorrect information, delayed application and lack of signature of the applicant.
