Media Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said the Government has
ensured that the funds disbursed by the donor countries and lending

the country has received over US$ 772 million up to September 15 and the

entered a new phase to bring the dividends of development to the people
after the Security Forces eradicated terrorism. Minister Abeywardena
stressed the people all over the country feel that the Government is for
the development of the country. “Massive development projects are going
on in each village and the villagers know better than any others how
their villages are being developed by the Government,” he said.
