LTTE documents unearthed

The Navy unearthed a large stock of LTTE secret documents from Ilangathurai, Kadirveli on Saturday evening.

Navy spokesman Captain D.P.K. Dassanayake said. “The documents concealed in 25 parcels and packed carefully in polythene were buried in a jungle patch,” he added.

Captain Dassanayake said high secret documents related to LTTE activities were among the documents found. A thorough investigation is being conducted by Navy Intelligence.
