CIMA Business Leaders' Summit

The CIMA 2009 Business Leaders' Summit will take place at the Cinnamon Grand from October 5 and 6. The two-day flagship event in the CIMA calendar is expected to attract over 400 diverse groups of corporates, business leaders and professionals.

Given the recent end to the separatist war the conference theme 'The challenge - Now and ahead' will focus on the macro economic opportunities and challenges posed to the current business environment.

The keynote speaker at the inauguration of the summit will be the Professor of Finance and Indian Institute of Finance Chairman and the Editor-in-Chief of Finance India Prof. J. D. Agarwal, whilst the Technical Session keynote speaker will be CIMA CEO Charles Tilley.

Papers at the technical sessions will be presented by Hemas Holdings Chairman, Lalith de Mel, and three overseas speakers Business Head TCS, India, Large Accounts SBU, Farzana Haque, Advanced Micro Devices Global Services (M) Sdn Bhd, Malaysia Vice President Finance, Boonsiri Somchit-Ong and Causal Impact, CEO and Partner, Joint Business Research Group in Germany, CEO Partner and co founder Dr. Kieter Kotte.
