Softlogic Group beat HSBC by 60 points to 52 in the Mercantile E division League Basketball semi-final played at Otters Sports Club Basketball Courts.

HSBC were in the lead 33 points to 21 at half time.

Yohan Dhanushka was the top scorer for the winning team with 14 points, while Manaram Bandara 13 and Roshantha Liyanage 11 too contributed points.

Shewan Ramanathan collected 13 points for HSBC, while Gayan Pinto was the highest scorer for HSBC with 13 points.

Union Assurance PLC defeated Ranawana and Co. by 83 points to 68 Union Assurance led 49 points to 28 at the half.

The D. division League Basketball semi-final was played at same venue.

Aruna Wickramage was the top scorer to the winning team with 28 points Chaminda Alwis got 26.
