Woman heroin peddler arrested

A woman heroin dealer, who ran a lucrative business, was nabbed at Kirulapone by Excise sleuths, while she was doing her usual business rounds yesterday.

At the time of arrest she had heroin worth over Rs.100,000 in her possession.

Excise spokesman Prabhath Jayawickrema said the arrested woman from Thotalanga, had engaged in the trade for a long period, posing as a wealthy businesswoman.
