Prisoners' welfare day, 2009

"The Sri Lanka Prisoners' Welfare Day Celebrations 2009" organized by Prisoners' Welfare Association in association with the Department of Prisons, the Mohan Lal Grero Foundation and the Sri Lanka Foundation institute, will be held on September 12 at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Independence, Rd, Colombo, 7 at 2 pm.

Milinda Moragoda, Minister of Justice and Law Reforms will be the chief guest at this program. Major General V. R. Silva, Commissioner General, Prison Department, Sam Wijesinghe, President, Prisoners' Welfare Association, Mohan Lal Grero, Founder, Mohan Lal Grero Foundation, Dr. C. P. Udawatte, Chairman Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, will be present on this occasion.
