NIROGI Lanka Project inauguration today

NIROGI Lanka Project funded by the World Diabetic Foundation will be inaugurated today at 10.15 a.m. by Healthcare and Nutrition Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva at the Lionel Memorial Auditorium SLMA in Colombo.

The guest of honour at this inauguration will be Dr. Anil Kapur, Managing Director of the World Diabetic Foundation and the invitees will be welcomed by the SLMA President Prof. Rezvi Sheriff. Among those who are billed to speak at this function are Prof. Ravindra Fernando (Chairperson NCD committee SLMA), Dr. H.A.P. Khanda Liyanage (Secretary Ministry of Healthcare and Nutrition), Dr. Lal Panapitiya (Director NCD unit, Ministry of Healthcare and Nutrition), and Prof. Chandrika Wijeratne (Coordinator, NIROGI Lanka project will speak. SLMA Secretary Dr. Ruvaiz Haniffa will deliver the vote of thanks.
